A welfare of Seafarers set up by the National Union of Seafarers (NUSI), in co-operation with the ITF.
Established as a Public Charitable Institution and Registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950.

The primary mission of the NUSI ITF trust is the Welfare of Seafarers and their Families. The trust strives to reach out to a large population of seafarers and their families through effectively administrated and executed schemes which include:

• Financial Support for Medical Treatment.
• Monetary Support for Widows of Seafarers.
• Grants and Scholarships for Seafarers' children for their higher and overseas studies.
• Counselling Helpline for Seafarers and Families.
• Skill Enhancement Programs at zero cost.
